Funny story....British english VS Singapore english.

One may conclude that our english is kanasai, but actually,its simple, short, concise, straight to the point.

When giving customers bad news,

British: I'm sorry,sir, it seems that we do not have the sweater in your size.

Singapore: Bo stock

Returning a call
British:Hello this is John Smith.Did anyone call me a few minutes ago?
Singapore:Hello, you call me ar?

Asking someone to make way,
British: Excuse me,i would like to get by,would you make way?
Singapore: Siam leh

When someone stare,
British:What is it you are staring at?
Singapore: see what see?

When someone is noisy,
British:stop talking so loudly here.
Singpore:Diam la!

this is a ture and touching story
A girl and a boy were holding hands and suddenly the girl asked
Girl: am i pretty
boy: no
Girl: do you wish to live with me?
boy: no
Girl:will you cry if I leave you
boy: no

The girl started to cry...
The boy pulled her close to him and hug her.
she even cried louder.
The boy kissed her in the lip to stop her crying and said.
"you are not pretty,but beautiful. I don't want to live with you but i live for you. if you leave me,i won't cry but i will die. i love you". you wil l get a happy love story if you have one! GOOD LUCK :)
